How This Began

Light Being Light began with a decade long encounter with strange, beautiful, luminous forms of Light that appeared again, and again, in the night sky—inviting wonder, curiosity, and connection. As we learned to engage with this Field of Light, which we learned are Beings of Light, something unexpected began to unfold; they became a doorway to sacred teachings, revealing messages of love, remembrance, awakening, and our deeper connection to the Divine. What began as a curious exploration has grown into a journey of discovery—a living invitation to see, feel, and experience the Light that is within and all around us.

In 2024, Barbara Quijano and Donna DePiano met through an online book club studying the Way of Mastery. Living in different states and leading different lives, it seemed unlikely their paths would ever cross. Yet something greater was at work. Through shared spiritual conversations and a growing circle of friendship, a deeper connection began to unfold.

Unbeknownst to Barbara and Donna they were both on their own spiritual paths leading them towards this encounter. In retrospect the progression of events appears divinely orchestrated and all a part of this beautiful and mysterious invitation into discovery.

After several months, Barbara built up enough courage to admit she had been exploring the gift of mediumship and offered practice mediumship sessions to members of the book club.

In November 2024, Donna requested a session. During the session, she asked a simple but profound question about her daily spiritual practice. The answer that came through was equally simple: "Surrender. Trust the process."

Days later Donna shared photographs she had been taking for years—images of mysterious Light Beings that appeared during her early dawn and deep dusk vigils. These images had been appearing for over twelve years. Donna explained that she had been told she lived on sacred land and began to hold vigils outdoors in the early dawn and late dusk hours, with her phone and its camera in hand. Upon viewing initial photos, photographing the night sky became her devotion and her spiritual practice, seven days a week.

In the early years Donna, not understanding what was happening and being afraid of what she was experiencing in the night sky, quietly prayed during each vigil to Archangel Michael for protection:

Archangel Michael, please wrap me in your wings and protect me.

Donna asked Barbara if perhaps she could find out what these images were and if they had a message to share. Curious and open-hearted, Barbara agreed to meditate and seek understanding. On November 21, 2024, the first communication was received.

What began as a private exploration soon evolved into an engaged and ongoing spiritual dialogue resulting in hundreds of messages now referred to as transmissions. The small group expanded, growing into a circle of "fellow sojourners." The messages and images multiplied, inspiring wonder, reflection, and a deepening understanding of the interconnected nature of life and spirit.

Donna now has over twelve thousand images from the Field of Light, which she now calls Light Beings. The Beings show themselves in different sizes and shapes, in white light and in colors, up close and far away. Most stunningly, they show themselves in amazing, beautiful, revelatory, and poetic teachings that come through the mediumship of Barbara. These are hundreds of wisdoms teachings.

Throughout this evolution the guidance has been clear: share what has been given.

This website is born from that guidance and request.
