The collective from whom the transmissions are received
Voices from the Field of Light
Husna
We know each other by our light and our frequency.
Husna is the collective within the Field of Light from whom the transmissions are received, who we refer to as Light Beings as well. These messages are woven with wisdom, love, and a gentle invitation to remember who we truly are. It is from Husna that the names listed here were given.
In the early transmissions, it was unclear who—or what—was communicating with us. Truth be told, Barbara felt a strong undercurrent of imposter syndrome. She wondered whether the messages she was receiving were simply the product of her imagination.
Then, in one simple exchange, that doubt was answered, leaving the small group that had gathered around these transmissions in a state of wonder and awe.
In one of the early transmissions, Barbara asked a series of questions in an attempt to understand who these beings were who were communicating with us. The silence in response was unsettling.
Then, during the fifth transmission, a simple question and answer took place.
Question
Yes. I do understand that I am both human and spirit at the same time. There are many that do not believe that, but for me it is a truth I accept. Before we go further, I would like to know how I should address you, or perhaps that does not matter. Is there a name, or are there many names?
Answer
If it matters to you, then it matters to us. We are indeed a "collective" of many Beings. We blend and merge with each other and even with you, since we are all connected in this Web of Being. Humans like to name and identify, and for us that labeling is not important. We know each other by our light and our frequency. Within the swirl of energy that is our natural state, there are no hard boundaries. But in order to facilitate communication, think of us as a communion of souls. We will reveal ourselves to you over time. For now, we believe that providing names might limit the curious inquiry. You may call us Husnah. That will incorporate all of us that are present at any given point in time.
Question
Husnah, thank you. Is there a meaning behind your name? I am not familiar with it.
Answer
We will allow you to research that on your own. We hope that will add a touch of magic and discovery as together we play in this Field.
At the time, "Husna"—or Husnah, as Barbara spelled it—sounded like a silly, made-up name. Barbara even said it sounded like something from a Dr. Seuss book. Rather than easing her doubts, the silliness deepened them. And yet, as it turned out, the truth of the name was far more beautiful than any of them could have imagined.
Unbeknownst to the small group, Husna carries a profound and ancient meaning. In Islam, Al-Asma al-Husna refers to the beautiful names and attributes of Allah. Husna carries the meaning of "most beautiful" or "beautiful," and is associated with that which is most beautiful, excellent, and good.
The name, which had initially sounded so unfamiliar—even playful—began to reveal itself as something much deeper.
Husna: a collective within the Field of Light, offering us a name that holds beauty. A name that evokes the sacred. A name that, without our knowing it, carried within it the very qualities woven through the transmissions themselves. Perhaps this was part of the gift.
It was unfamiliar to Barbara. It was unfamiliar to the small group. And because it was unfamiliar, there was no expectation attached to it, no preconceived meaning waiting to be imposed.
We were simply given a name, and then invited to discover its meaning for ourselves.
A touch of magic. A touch of discovery, and perhaps, another reminder that the Field has a way of revealing what is already there—when we are willing to listen.
